We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced PR/Marketing Specialist to join our team. The role will be based in our Oakville office.

Role Overview:
Kraken Sense is seeking a dynamic and creative PR/Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive public relations and marketing strategies to promote Kraken Sense's products, services, and brand within the biotech industry and beyond.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute integrated PR and marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness, drive lead generation, and support business growth objectives.
Create compelling content for press releases, blog posts, social media channels, and marketing materials that resonate with target audiences and showcase Kraken Sense's value proposition.
Cultivate relationships with key industry influencers, media outlets, and stakeholders to secure media coverage, speaking engagements, and partnership opportunities.
Monitor and analyze PR and marketing metrics to track campaign performance, optimize strategies, and ensure ROI on marketing investments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support, to align marketing initiatives with business goals and customer needs.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to proactively identify opportunities and challenges for Kraken Sense.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in PR, marketing, or communications roles within the biotech, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
Proven track record of successful PR and marketing campaigns that have resulted in increased brand visibility, customer engagement, and lead generation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for different channels and audiences.
Proficiency in PR and marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, content management systems, and analytics tools.
Creative and strategic mindset with analytical thinking to drive data-driven decision-making in marketing initiatives.
Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and trade shows.
