SynBio 2023: Showcasing Innovative Solutions for a Resilient Food Supply Chain
We were honoured to attend the SynBio 2023 conference hosted by Ontario Genomics from June 13-15! As part of the BioCreate Program Showcase funded by FedDev Ontario, we had the opportunity to present our real-time pathogen detection devices and automated DNA processing solutions, emerging as winners of the audience vote for the most promising candidate!
Ontario Genomics’ BioCreate program, funded by FedDev Ontario, offers support to businesses innovating genomics and bioengineering technologies in the health, food and agriculture, and cleantech sectors. By helping these businesses become more competitive, innovative, and productive, FedDev creates opportunities for economic growth in Southern Ontario, developing and diversifying local economies. We had the great pleasure of connecting with and learning from other participants in the BioCreate program, including:
AIMA Laboratories (Hamilton)
Index Biosystems (Burlington)
Ceragen (Kitchener)
BioFect Innovations (Toronto)
Genecis (Toronto)
Liven Proteins (Toronto)
Performance Plants (Kingston)
